Achieving Optimal Health

Updated: Mar 2, 2021

Your health is your wealth. Experts widely consider exercise, a balanced diet,

relaxation, and sleep crucial to a healthy life. While these “four pillars” of good health help keep your body going, they also play an important role in your emotional well-being.

Optimal health is your complete physical, emotional, and relational well-being. It’s not just the absence or prevention of disease but taking an active role in the vitality of the parts that make up the whole. It’s feeling good in yourself, allowing you to live your fullest life.

"Optimal Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." - World Health Organisation

Optimal health is different for everyone and unique to you! The journey to optimal health starts with a mindset of choosing and deciding to live with intention.

Start by asking yourself these two questions:

What do I want to achieve?

What changes do I need to make?

Your health and taking care and control of it is your responsibility. Taking care of yourself brings out the best version of yourself, this will have a knock-on effect in other areas of your life and you will experience change on many levels.

The steps to achieving optimal health are available and straightforward. Your biggest challenge is to decide you want to take those steps. And knowing the everlasting benefits, it’s hard not to consider.

In light of the recent pandemic now is the time to focus on health and wellbeing. Achieving optimal health can boost your immune system, improving your defences.

I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best

John
